2018 Advocacy Report on the “Red-Line” Detention of Asylum-Seekers upon Entry in Bulgaria

posted in: Events | 0

In July 2018 the Foundation for Access to Rights (FAR) prepared an advocacy report, which provides an update on the blurred boundaries between detention and reception of asylum seekers upon their entry in Bulgaria and looks into immigration law detention of asylum seekers as irregular migrants.

The report is prepared under the Red Line Project, coordinated by the Hungarian Helsinki Committee (HHC) and supported by the European Programme for Integration and Migration (EPIM).

A comparative report, addressing the situation in Bulgaria, Greece, Hungary and Italy is coming soon.
